¡Todo lo que necesitas saber sobre las finanzas!

Contexto

La liga IFL es una organización sin ánimo de lucro. Por lo tanto, no está registrada ni a efectos fiscales ni en la Comunidad de Madrid, aunque esto podría cambiar en el futuro.

Existen una serie de gastos que deben ser cubiertos cada año, siendo los más significativos los referentes al alojamiento de la Web y a los trofeos de Liga y Copa. Nadie cobra un sueldo de la liga y cada uno de los roles se realiza de forma voluntaria.

Cuota de inscripción

Cada uno de los equipos paga una cuota anual de 60€ para el funcionamiento de la Liga. Teniendo en cuenta que ésta es una cantidad a dividir entre todos los miembros del equipo, creemos que es una buena relación calidad-precio. Lo único que pedimos es que la inscripción se pague en las primeras dos semanas de la temporada, en la siguiente cuenta:

2.0 IFL Madrid finances

 

2.1 The IFL Madrid is a not-for-profit organisation – summary of how we are doing financially.

 

2.2 We reached our aim of having a balance of €2,000 in the account last year. This enables us to pay for costs relating to the annual tournament away from Madrid (IFL International Cup) before we receive the cash from the teams. It also ensures that we can maintain the viability of the league and meet the costs of main expenses such as trophies in the event of lower team numbers (and therefore registration fee income) in any one year.

 

2.3 Financial implications of sponsorship and of social events, what happens if we don't have them.

 

2.4 The penalties imposed for the last two seasons for teams not paying their registration fees on time have continued to work well. 2017 / 2018 Registration Fees = €60 Per team ……

· Can pay in cash at the captains meeting or give to one of the committee members in Week 1 or Week 2 (30 September or 7 October).

· If paid in cash at any bank, commission is generally zero.

· Deadline 7 October (bank transfer details on web page)

· Penalty of €25 if paid after 14 October

· Temporary suspension and forfeit of subsequent IFL matches from 14 October until payment is received

4.0 The player 'contract' – players must recognise that they are not insured and have read the rules

 

4.1 IFL Madrid is not liable for any injury claim and that is why we introduced a ‘disclaimer’ last season that all participating players must accept at the start of EVERY NEW season. To be eligible to

 

4.2 The disclaimer: “To participate in the International Football League (IFL) Madrid, I hereby acknowledge that there is no club or association insurance in place which will cover any injury that I may suffer during IFL Madrid football matches. I indemnify and release the International Football League (IFL) Madrid and their respective officials and volunteers of any claim that I may have in respect of any injury or loss that I may suffer whilst participating in games organised by the IFL Madrid. I acknowledge that I have elected to play in the league uninsured”

 

4.3 To be eligible to play, all players must tick the checkbox to say they have read the rules. Fielding an ineligible player results in an automatic 7-0 forfeit and possible further sanctions.

 

4.4 'terms and conditions, whatever' effect – Players must actually read the IFL Madrid laws of the game and be made to understand them. It is absolutely unacceptable that there are frequently recurrent instances of players disputing rules or citing futsal rules. We play by IFL Madrid rules and we must know them, captains will face personal sanctions for this as well as offending players. Please report.

 

 

5.0 Captains'/Teams' responsibilities

 

5.1 Know the rules and laws of the game and ensure as far as possible that all their players know them (as per point 4.4) and abide by them.

 

5.2 Team captains must confirm and agree the final score at the end of the game, then enter their result and goalscorers by mobile phone within an hour. If this is not possible, we expect the result and goalscorers to be entered the same day of the match. The job of entering scorers and results can be delegated to other team members if you make them admins for your team on the website.

 

5.3 Captains must ensure honesty in the entering of goalscorers.

 

5.4 A captain's role on the pitch must be to cool conflicts, not fan the flames

 

5.5 Pay the league fees

 

5.6 Confirm you are playing during the week before you play with the rival captain, Friday at the latest. Use common courtesy and check or respond. If you are struggling to raise a team, inform the other captain as per the rules. Use the captains' whatsapp group responsibly.

 

5.7 Matchday captains are required to wear an armband to make them clearly identifiable for the resolution of disputes. (VOTED, ARMBAND KEPT AS ADVISABLE, BUT IT WILL BE CONSIDERED ACCEPTABLE IF THE CAPTAIN DOES NOT WEAR AN ARMBAND AS LONG AS HE MAKES HIMSELF KNOWN TO THE OTHER TEAM BEFORE THE MATCH)

5.8 Each team should have a basic first aid kit

 

5.9 Teams must have home and away colours

 

 

6.0 Competition mechanics

 

6.1 League kicks off on Sunday 30 September and will finish with the Carroll Cup in mid June

 

6.2 Kick off times will remain 11:00, 12:00 and 13:30 (12:00 teams can eject the previous teams if they have not finished by 12:10, 13:30 teams can eject previous teams immediately [though should never happen]

 

6.3 Remember 2-0 starting penalty for more than 10 minutes lateness, 7-0 match forfeit if a team is more than 20 minutes lateness (half time breaks should be timed to be exactly five minutes)

 

6.4 We maintain the commitment not to force teams to play league matches on puente/public holiday weekends (All Saints will be an exception), but we may play some league cup matches on the puentes when people are less likely to be away (the Pilar and Almudena holidays in Autumn)

 

6.5 There is no added time for stoppages unless there is a serious injury and both teams agree on adding time. Remember that as per 6.2, teams can be ejected if they run over time. If that happens, the score when the incoming teams demand the pitch will be the final score. Use complaint forms when necessary.

 

6.6 No postponements - “Only in truly exceptional circumstances, such as extreme weather conditions rendering the pitches unplayable, will it be possible to play a match after its scheduled date. Any request must be submitted to the committee as soon as the impediment is known. The committee will decide on the validity of the request, along with any potential rearranged fixture.”

 

6.7 League Cup matchdays will have dedicated weeks where possible (we will try to avoid doubling up with league matches)

 

6.8 International Cup – Enormous fun and very important for feeling of community in the league. The dates will be determined over the next two months for the tournament in May 2018. Please start asking who is interested in your teams now as we will be looking to confirm participation in November.

 

6.9 League size – 18 or 19 teams this season

 

6.10 League Format – three seeded qualifying groups where teams play each other once. Then teams in the first and second divisions will start at zero again and play each other twice.

 

 

 

7.0 Social Media

 

7.1 Social Media is an important tool to help promote the IFL Madrid's 'fun and friendly community spirit' and also encourage sponsorship

 

7.2 We were unable to produce regular content last season and we need help with this. Photos and contributions to the Facebook page are very welcome. Instagram is also a platform for us to explore.

 

 

 

8.0 Disciplinary Procedures

 

8.1 We urge you to report incidents via the Complaints Form. We look at every case as fairly as we can. If misdemeanors go unreported, we can do nothing about them. Simon Howard will receive the complaints and communicate to the rest of the committee. A different member will chair the procedure each time. Members whose team is involved in a dispute do not contribute to that procedure.

 

8.2 We have a 'guide' to issuing penalty points which we will consult in player disciplinary procedures
